Things to Consider When Buying a Good Suite Case

A suitcase is a form of luggage. It’s often a flat, rectangular-shaped bag along with rounded square corners, either metal, hard plastic or made of cloth, vinyl or leather that more or less retains its shape as well. Suite case can have a carrying handle on one side. For transporting, keeping clothes & other possessions during trips, people use suitcases. It opens on hinges like a door & lock with keys or a combination number.

On the market, suitcases are available in various styles & materials. The first suitcase made up of polycarbonate & polypropylene was made in 2000 by the German luggage maker ‘Rimowa’. The experiment was successful & after that most luggage manufacturers copied the idea & started making suitcases from the same material. Although there were many grades of polycarbonate. A few years later another material used in the making of suitcases ‘Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene’ (ABS). Which was cheaper than polycarbonate & polypropylene.

The most durable suitcases are normally created from polymers, for example, nylon & have a covering that resists liquid from entering into the interior & seams glued together or stitched with strong nylon thread. Many advanced suitcases have built-in small wheels. This enables them to be pulled along on all types of surfaces either by a fixed or extendable handle.

Qualities of Good Suite case.

There are several qualities which need to be considered when buying like,

Hard Shell/ Durability

If you want to keep your belongings safe & protected, & what’s inside your suitcase is your top priority, then skip the soft-case section & head straight to the hard shells. The suitcase must be hard enough & durable to tolerate external impacts even it is tossed. On the other hand, a low-quality suite case will break if handled not properly.

Expandable

A good suite case must also have a feature of extending. For example, there are few bags in the market which have extra zippers on sides which opens all the way from one end to another, when you open these zippers it makes more room for your stuff.

The extendable handle is another feature that a good suite case must-have for convenience. This handle helps you dragging the suitcase when walking at the airport or anywhere. So, always make sure your new hard case has that expandable handle option too.

Lightness

Lightness is another key feature. Airlines are pretty strict with a baggage weight limit. In this case, of course, you don’t want to be using a suitcase that is already half the weight of what you are actually packing. So choose lightweight suite cases.

Built-in Compartments

A good suite case must have separate sections for clothing, elasticized security straps, & smaller pockets for electronics & other accessories for your trip. So, before you pull out your credit card, make sure to test out all the closures & zippers to confirm everything is functioning as it should be to avoid trouble later on.

 Sturdy Wheels

A good suite case must have sturdy wheels. They should be strong enough to hold the weight & give good performance on uneven surfaces.
